I have had a WD My Cloud Home for a couple of years now, and I have been using it for local storage without any issues, on Windows and a Mac.
A couple of weeks ago, I stopped being able to access my “Local Area Network Share” from the Mac, I only have access to the “User Private Space” from the app
Although everything seems to work correctly with Windows, I can access the LAN share without issues on my other machine. Therefore, it should be some problem on the Mac side
What exactly can I do to solve this issue and be able to reaccess my files?

You must have received one or more email notifications or at least have an inkling that something has changed with the device. The first step is to read the link to the support article below.
This update introduces a new ‘local access feature’ to My Cloud Home, My Cloud Home Duo, and ibi products. This will enable users to use their device in a local network without connecting to the internet once local access is enabled using the dashboard. The Dashboard is a browser interface to enable local access. You can launch the dashboard from the web applications (https://home.mycloud.com/) and (https://ibi.sandisk.com/).
