Newest Plex update on MyCloudMirror

Hi there,

I recently installed Plex on my WD with the app manager present in the control panel. My problem is that the app that the manager installed is much older than the most recent one (1.3.2.3112 → 1.5.5.3634). I was just wondering if there was a reason that the WD app manager chose to not keep up with the most recent Plex update ? Could there be problems if I update Plex manually since the app manager doesn’t do it automatically ?

Hello,

You can install Plex manually, it shouldn’t be a problem. Download the most recent version and install it from the My Cloud Dashboard.
