New WD Mycloud EX2 Ultra won't boot up

Hello

I ordered a WD Mycloud EX2 Ultra NAS with 4TB of storage included yesterday and got it in the mail today. When i however tried to start it up none of the lights started blinking. You can hear the ventilators and the drives working though.

When i got it out of the packaging i connected an Ethernet cable to the device and my router, i then connected the powercable to the device and a multi socket extension cord.

Did i mess something up somehow?

You may, if you haven’t already want to see the dedicated EX2 Ultra subforum where people more knowledgeable with that unit may be able to assist. Generally this subforum (My Cloud) deals with the single bay/single drive My Cloud units.

If the My Cloud unit has failed out of the box you should contact WD Customer Support directly as this community is mostly a user to user support community.
