New i7 build won't see My Studios

I have (2) My Studios configered for PC both are 2TB and have worked flawlessly for years in a AMD based rig. Now with my newly built i7 rig the esata/usb/firewire connections attached the drives aren’t being discovered. The same goes for my esata/sata internal expansion card. I wonder if anyone has a work around for this. I have contacted both MSI and Vantec for updates/drivers and neither are able to work around. They say sometimes this happens well I have hundreds of dollars worth of externals sitting quiet and this is just unexceptable…any help would be greatly appreciated.

My new platform spec’s are:

MSI P67A-GD80 mobo

3770k CPU

Vantec UGT-ST310R

Hi, did you check if the hard drives are recognized on the disk management window?

Yes I checked and they aren’t showing in disk management. It’s a real mystery but I’ve ordered a Sans Digital 4 bay enclosure and and I’m going to pull the 4 1 tb greens out and place them in the 4 bay as it connectds with USB 3.0 and eSata. I may then replace the drives in the WD Studio’s as I can find 2tb or larger drives on sale. Just never had a external drive never detected by the mobo before.
