I just bought the 4TB Studio II External HD (My Book) dual drive w/ RAID & eSATA, FW800, USB 2.0… $350 bucks, up set that it did not come with an eSATA cable.
I loaded the CD manager.
I am using an Alienware m17x laptop that is pretty loaded. I shoot and edit Panasonic HD footage with Adobe Premiere CS5. Thinking that if I used the eSATA connection that I would be able to cut through this movie with no problems.
For the first 4 days, I’ve had to use the USB cable with makes my footage on playback look choppy. Finally, I got an eSATA cable and thought I’d be in NLE’s Heaven… but no. The 4TB just does NOT show up.
Back to editing… S.O.S.
