I am trying to share a folder on my external drive over my home network. I cannot get my WDTV live plus to see it no matter what… Regular network shares from my regular hard drive work fine… Anyone try or experience this?
I know that this doesn’t help too much, but I do that all the time without any problems. Since I un-plug my external drives from my computer when I am not using them, I have to select to share the drives on the network every time I plug them back in. Are you doing that?
This is a known issue and I resolved by doing some changes to the registry
