No, nothing to set up with NetFlix.
How’s your downstream internet bandwidth?
Umm… 14 Mbps according to my ISP…
Check it at speedtest.net.
14.19 according to that web site ;-)
Are you using component video or HDMI? Component only goes up to 480p in NetFlix…
Component
The HDMI port on my TV is apparetnly buggered up… (either that or my HDMI cable has crapped out)
480p may look grainy (though that’s not been my experience…)
*My Netflix video looked horrible until I logged on using my PC and changed my Video Settings to MAXIMUM (I guess it was on minimum).
All shows looked awesome after that.
Ahh… I keep forgetting that Canada NetFlix did that…
Thanks! I had NO idea there were any such settings on the netflix website!
Looks MUCH better now
Watch your bill! (If you’re one of the Canadian subscribers that has bandwidth caps…)

Bell wants us all to have caps… it’s cheaper for them than to spend money bringing Canada into the 21st century.
There’s many second-world countries with better internet connectivity than Canada.
Bell’s done nicely in bring in profits for investors, but they’ve done nothing about meeting demand/need. They just keep saying they can’t handle the traffic, and yet do nothing to change that. They can’t even handle 5 years ago’s traffic yet.
6GB/mo should be good for one Netflix movie in HD.
/rant
I ain’t been with Bell for years… They are a passle of snakes!
I have a cap, and an affordable per/gig after that… s’all good ;-)
