Need Help with WD MyCloud Port Forwarding Issue

Hey everyone,

I’m facing an issue with my WD MyCloud 2TB NAS device and I’m hoping someone here might be able to assist me in resolving it.

Here’s my setup:

  • WD MyCloud 2TB OS 5 with firmware version 5.27.161
  • ISP-provided ZTE F670L ONT device
  • ASUS RT-AC5300 router attached to the ONT device as AiMesh Router
  • WD MyCloud connected to the ASUS Router

I’ve been trying to set up port forwarding to establish a direct connection to my WD MyCloud, but I’m only able to get a Relay connection at the moment.

Could someone please guide me through the process of setting up port forwarding both on my ASUS router and on the WD MyCloud UI? I’d greatly appreciate it if you could provide detailed instructions, including which specific ports need to be forwarded.

Thank you in advance for your help!
