Hey guys I would appreciate some help with this because I’m completely stumped. I’m trying to setup my dad’s new WDTV LIVE HUB with a wireless network. Router/modem combo is a 2wire 2701HG-G USB adapter is a Belkin F7D1102TT So what Ive done already is update the firmware via a USB stick and plugged in the Belkin n adapter. Then I went to settings and searched for a network with no success. I tested the Belkin on my laptop to make sure it’s not defective and I got a perfect connection. Is it possible my Hub is defective?
More likely the Hub just isn’t in love with your adapter. It may be due to the Firmware version you are using. Seems there are problems with release 3.0. Some are reporting USB adapters they used in V2.08 aren’t working with 3.0.
You may need to roll back to an earlier version…
Called support and they got me to downgrade. I guess they will need to release a patch soon.
