NAS worked, did Firmware Upgrade and now believes its "Critical"

Whoever did the QA for this firmware testing should be demoted to the Mail Room…

So, I have a 4TB NAS.  We were in the process of wiping it when one of the techs noticed it needed a firmware update.  Runs the firmware, 100% / 100% → Reboots.  Bricks.  I can see the device on my switches.  My DHCP server hands it an IP.  But nothing can access it.  And now the “Red Checkmark” is blinking whenever I plug in a Cat5 Cable.

I tried disturbing the raid by switching the hard drive arrangement to see if it would reset back to day 1, but so far, that didn’t work.  Is there a way, outside of me hauling this thing to the range and putting 12 rounds through it, to make this thing useful again?

You can try a reset, by holding its reset button for 20 seconds.  If the issue persists, and the red light does not goes away, you may have your ShareSpace replaced.
