Had Windows 7 and could not backup computer to mycloud. Upgraded to windows 10 and cannot see mycloud in the backup area in smartware pro. What do I have to do? My dropbox is there but do not want to use it. Thanks,
Does your windows 10 computer see the WD My Cloud when using Windows Explorer? Can you access any of the folders on the WD My Cloud using Windows Explorer on Windows 10?
For some when they perform a Windows 10 upgrade, that upgrade may reset the “network location” to “Public” which will prevent access to some or all local network devices like the WD My Cloud. If this is the case see the following link for a possible fix.
