MyBook live: cannot access public share

Hi forum,

I have a my book live, that seems to work flawlessly from a linux computer, but there are two problems when I try to access it from a computer with windows 7 or windows 8.

First, I cannot access the Public shared folder (however I can access other shared folders). Is there anything special on the way the Public share is handled?

Second, I cannot open the web interface (either from Internet explorer or chrome)

Any ideas?

Hello,

Make sure the computer and the My Book Live are both in the same workgroup.

Check page #67 of the user’s manual for more information.
