My WD Tv is dead. (Sent to service)

I was watching Netflix when I noticed some artifacts showing on two random times.

10 seconds into new episode the picture froze. I pulled the power and tried to power 

it back on, but only got to the first image. Reset did not work as it was not booting.

Then I tried to rollback firmware by booting from usb, and it did the update, but no change after.

I will update this post when I get it back.


This is most unfortunate. Hopefully the replacement device will address the described behavior.

I got a new retail package today, and all is well. It is more clear now than ever that there was

something wrong with the old one. It is faster, and quality on tv is better.
