I just recently had my wd tv replaced because it was no longer booting. Now my new wd tv is showing same
artifacting in Netflix as the old one did before it died. Could it be the same issue, and can I do anything to
prevent it from dying?

Hi paulove, have you tried some basic troubleshooting steps like doing a power cycle, resetting the WDTV, changing the HDMI cable?
Seems like I kinda did find a fix, the box did freee after an error in Netflix and I pressed the reset button
thinking it would only soft reset it. But it did a hard reset. Now I have no error in Netflix anymore.
