Hi, my WD SN850X w/heatsink is not being detected by dashboard, even though the drive is working fine.
Does someone know what can be the reason?
Ps: I have removed the heatsink from the drive as it couldn’t fit into my hp omen 16 laptop. Can that be the reason why dashboard is not detecting it? It just says “Not supported on RAID devices.”

hmm, perhaps your laptop was shipped with raid enabled in bios instead of ahci mode.
if this is the case then it’s possible to swap without having to reinstall with a little bit of fiddling by booting into safe mode, restart and enter bios > switch modes>save>reboot
Did you fix it? I have almost the same issue with SN850X (no heatsink).
