My Passport wont show up

I just got a my passport 2tb and when i plug it in to any computer it doesnt show that it is recognized but the light is on

What OS are you using? Look in Disk Management and see if the drive has a letter assigned.

Hi Lanzetta20,

I agree with Joe_S. I would also try a different cable and plug the drive into a different computer to see if it shows up. Since this is a passport drive, make sure that the cable is less than 12-inches long and that you are plugging the drive directly into a computer’s USB port and not a USB hub, dock station, or other device.
