I have been using My Passport for years with no problems.
2 TB (the drive is completely filled)
Now I can’t find it on the Mac desktop.
In Utility, it shows it but it is faintly blurred and won’t open.
We have years of archives for a Haiti Mission Trip group on this
The power light goes on, but I can’t access it.
I tried using USB on another (different) Mac and a Dell computer - same problem.
