My Passport not working with my Mac

  1. I tried to transfer files from my Mac into the hard disk but it’s not allowing me to do so.

  2. Then, I tried to dismount it/ reformat it/ erase all data in it (it’s new and don’t have any files yet) but to no avail.

How do I make it work??

Have you checked the format from Disk Utility? Is It NTFS or macOS Extended (Journaled)?
