When I plug my passport into my computer, my computer dings saying new device attached but nothing ever opens. I’ve tried opening manually and it says that it is not accessible and that the parameter is incorrect. When I open WD security or WD utilities, my passport is recognized. I ran a status check in WD utilities and is says SMART status passed.I’m currently trying to run a quick test drive which should only take about 2 minutes, but it’s been at 90% complete for 15 min now. I’ve tried using another computer with no luck. I even bought a new usb cord but that one didn’t work at all. In Device Manager, my passport shows up as a device under hard drives. Disk management shows the drive and says it is healthy and also shows RAW and read only. Is there a way to fix this? Has anyone had any luck with a similar situation?
