I have two My Passport for Macs, neither of them show up when I plug them in. In security, discovery or utilities. I have thousands of photos that I haven’t been able to access. This happened a while ago with my first one, after purchasing another one, the same thing eventually happened.

Hello, I just had the same problem and thought all it’s lost. But I plugged the hard drive in my husband’s mac and it was working. I shut my mac book off and sprayed both usb ports with dust off air-spray. I just turned it on again and the hard drive is discoverable again.
