Could I use this hd (recommended por ps4), in a pc or in a nintendo switch?. if it is possible, have i to format only?. Thanks and regards.
i personally think that hard drives marketed as “Gaming Storage” is just a Marketing Gimmick to maybe raise the price.
i have several ‘Non’ Gaming Storage hard drives that work fine with my PS4 Pro …and work fine with my PC and would most likely work with a Switch (if i had one)
And to answer the question … YES, you would have to format/partition it to the device you want to use it on. Most Gaming Consoles will do this for you (ie. confirm to format it for use on the console)
PC’s … you will have to manually do it.
