I just purchased my hard drive today. I can access it on my laptop, However when I connect it to my Samsung smart TV it is not responding. Please advice!

In order to use the hard drive in TV you need to format it first. I believe it will resolve your unrecognized hard drive issue.

I did try to reformat my hard drive to exFAT, however the TV still did not recognize my hard drive I also tried using a new wire. No change.
