My Passport Ultra 1TB Unable to Read From Smart TV

Hi there I just brought My Passport Ultra 1TB but it can’t read from my Samsung Smart TV, I have formatted it to exFAT and it still no sign on my TV.

Kindly advice how can I to solve this problem.

Hello,

I recommend you take a look at your TV user’s manual and find out what kind of drives does it use and what format does it has to be formatted.

Not all TV’s work the same and have the same requirements for external drives.

Hi Hamlet,

This is my 2nd Passport from WD, the previous one which I bought it 4 years ago can serve well both on PC & TV and the format is FAT32.

Kindly advice me further on this issue.
