My Elements play and *mkv files

Hi all,

could you please let me know your experience with playing new *mkv files? In the past time I have a bad experience with this type of movies. The problem is, that the Elements play recognizes this file on the disc but doesn´t want to play it. If somebody knows the solution please let me know what to do.

What is the codec inside the MKV file?

i’m italian  member. sorry for my english…

i have some problems with mkv files with dimension of 10-18 GB. during the vision the film proceed not fluent but with “low framerate” or jerkily. I don’t know what’s the right term to describe my problem. Coul’d anyone help me??

Another question can my elements play file .iso from blu ray full (30 gb)???

Another problem with .mkv

My WD Elements Play is played .mkv video without a problem…but without a sound!

Firmware  1.01.12

First i think to change firmware…but firmware in downloads section on this site is older than my.

I have the same model en simular problems, no sound when I play most MKV, not all, some play with sound.

Who can advice?

You have to turn off MKV Header Compression when you make your MKV files.
