My computer won't boot up when power is connected to WD 8TB Elements Desktop Hard Drive

When I shut down my computer, I have to disconnect the power to the hard drive and then reconnect it after I boot up or my computer won’t boot. I run Windows 10 and have 8Gb RAM. I don’t have this problem with any of my other external hard drives. The drive works well other than this. Does anyone know what the problem could be and how I can fix it?

This is boot up problem. Make sure the WD Drive is included in the boot up sequence.
