My Cloud T2 Setup Issues

We bought this My Cloud T2 two years ago. Only got a chance to set it up today and realized the installation guide is no longer applicable due to website change. I tried to set it up from here My Cloud OS3 End of Service | Western Digital

But my cloud could not be found. Below is the error message.

Has anyone had this problem?

I did. My computer couldn’t find My Cloud

@renever What kind of Computer and operating system do you have? Is this a 1st or 2nd generation My Cloud?

Is the My Cloud connected, via Ethernet wire, to the network router?
Is the computer connected to that same router using Ethernet wire?
What operating system are you using?
Is the network router handing out an IP address to the My Cloud? (See the router’s administration page for the DHCP client listing.)
If using Windows 10 ensure SMB 1.0 is enabled. Microsoft disables SMB 1.0 for security reasons in newer releases of Windows 10.

In certain rare instances one’s network router may cause a conflict with the My Cloud. The workaround is to use a network switch between the router and the My Cloud.
