Without any reason I cannot reach my Mycloud Home device both internally and externally.
I made some test, but nothing. I made long reset (push pin more than 60 sec). The device boots and light is solid (I tried more times since sometimes it was slowly blinking). Now I can ping the device, but I cannot access to filesystem. I switched off and reboots more times, but nothing.
Have you been using it routinely and “suddenly” it stopped, or was it in storage, not used recently (or you just got it) and can’t get it working?
If “suddenly” stopped, what else changed? New phone? New PC/Mac? New ISP?
What OS are you running? Are you running the apps?
I’m using regularly it (destination of my daily backup); I experienced the problem because the backup (cobian) failed. So I can say suddenly; but nothing changed in my network; all clients are windows 11 (my family) and android/iphone attached to the wifi networ, no change occured
When you ”pinged” it, did you use the IP address or it’s “name”? Did it respond with the name?
Open a Command prompt. Enter “net view \\ipaddress” (without the quotes), press enter. Do you see the list of shares or get an error. If error post the error.
