I’m not always able to log on to my cloud when I am away from my wifi at my house. It always works when I’m connected to that. But if I work remotely, it’s hit and miss.
If you are trying to access dashboard of My Cloud EX2 Ultra, dashboard can be accessed only on the local network or the router with which the same My Cloud device is connected.
However, you may also try to use another web browser in this concern.
