My cloud connecting to new LG smart TV

Hi,

I have a wd my cloud and just bought myself a new LG smart TV. I was told as the tv has wifi I could easily connect to the my cloud, but I cannot seam to even see the my cloud in the TV wifi section?.. Is there something I need to do to be able to get the cloud to connect to the TV?

If you go into the Smartshare section of the TV it should automatically see the Mycloud there. Mine does.

Your tv and wdmycloud must be in the same subnet. Eg. Tv->wifi->router <-lan<-wdmycloud. Restart all tv, router and wdmycloud see if it helps.
