I’ve had several NAS units running on my network for years. However last week the QuickView icon dropped one of the My Book Live Duo units from it’s list.
I can open the unit and everything looks good on it. I’ve rebooted it but it still is missing from QuickView. Any suggestions on how to get it back into QuickView again?

May be you can try reinstalling the WD QuickView or check if there is any update required for it or not .

I tried finding a download for Quickview to try to reinstall it but was unable to find it in the downloads section. Perhaps you have a link? The program itself does not have an option to check for an update and since I can’t find the download, I have no way of knowing if I’m on the most current version or not.
Thank you for the link. The version there is the same version but I went ahead and reinstalled it. Unfortunately it didn’t help. At first NONE of my drives showed up however after a min. all the other drives did fill in except for the one that was missing in the first place. And it’s still missing. So no harm, but no improvement either.

It now shows up. Nothing changed other than a couple more hours passed since I did the update. But it appears to be working now.
