My Book Live Duo (2012) & Windows 11 access trouble

I have an old my book live duo NAS and I just bought a new windows 11 laptop. I’m have I trouble accessing the drive. All my other devices on the network still have full access, phones and old windows 10 laptop, but not the new windows 11. I download the install software from the WD website so I had the latest version. First off I cannot get the dashboard link to display from the quick view down by the clock. The drive (drive z) does show in win explorer and I can click to open the drive but if I get into a folder abs hit back to go back, it loses everything and says no files found. I have to exit and start all over again.

Is this a windows 11 thing where there’s a compatibility issue? Any ideas to solve this?

Possibly. There is an issue with Windows 11 24H2. Read through this.

Thank you. I’ll try some of these. I have changed a few properties on the drive z from access to this folder, to this folder and subfolders and files. I can get in to all folders now but they show empty. I have to click refresh everytime and it will then show the contents.

Every folder shows empty but will show the contents upon REFRESH
