I have had Mybooklive Duo for a good many years. It’s still working but I’m having trouble getting full access since upgrading to Windows 11. The computer sees the files through Wonky Media and I can access the Admin UI area. However, I cannot access the shares directly to add files, folders, etc. Does anyone have any insight into whether this can be resolved?
Common problem with WIn11 24H2.
If you can access the admin interface but not the shares, it’s possible that the share permissions have changed. Make sure the shares are properly configured to allow write access.
Try this:
-
Go to Control Panel > Programs > Turn Windows features on or off.
-
Enable SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support.
-
Restart your PC.
-
Or, map the drive using \device-IP\Public.
Thank you all for responding. Enabling SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support seems to have resolved the issue.
