My Book Duo 20 TB - should I defrag? If so, using what app?

I have owned this 20 TB drive for 12 months so - it’s been a mixed bag of experience, but generally reliable with the occasional ‘over temperature’ warning and shut down. Recently I had trouble starting the drive, so I unplugged it for an hour. After restarting it seemed to work fine. I then ran a Quick Drive Test (which passed), but then running a Complete Drive Test fails after two attempts, but now is hours into the third attempt, without any sort of progress shown (but the drives are crunching away madly).

My questions are these

  1. Does the WD Drive Utilities ‘Complete Drive Test’ actually defrag?
  2. If it does not, should I be defragging a Striped configuration?
  3. If so, using what software?
