Moving Folders in My Cloud

I have imported music into the shared area and want to move it to the main music folder but cannot seem to do it. Could anyone advise please.

Provided you have full access rights to both Shares, you should have no trouble moving folders with your favourite file manager.

What do you mean by the shared area? Was this by using files.mycloud.com or did you place them in the Public share? Where did you import them from?

You may want to look at this.

Shared Pictures
Shared Videos

directories in Public, created by Twonky.

You’re probably right, my second question probably didn’t cover that.

I sent music files from my Mac to My Book drive, I meant to put them in public area but put them into the folder called shared by mistake, I tried to drag and drop them to move them but doesn’t work. I may delete them and transfer again to correct area.
