Migrating from EX4100 to PR4100 help required

Changing the drives etc is done so rarely i completely forget by the next time.
Am looking to put a new larger drive in the ex4100 transferring data onto that and then inserting to PR4100. dont remember if i can then access that share (sure i could) or how to. Pretty sure i did when moving from ex2100.
Am very old school i run as 4 JBODS

Please could anyone direct to how to guides?
