Message at shutdown :the application failed to start correctly"

My Passport 1 TB WDBYNN00 108WT-0B on PC running Windows 10 Pro 64 bit: won’t back up and I’m getting message at shutdown “the application failed to start correctly”. Any ideas that would fix this?

How do you backup your computer on My Passport and which software or tool did you use?

I used the WD software that came with the Passport and simply clicked on “backup” somewhere.

You can uninstall and reinstall the latest version of WD Backup from below WD Support link and then try to start backup again.
