It is asking for a 9 digit number but there isn’t one on the drive.

Could it be that you don’t really know what subforum you are posting in or what WD My Cloud series you really have?
Your device has nothing to do with the My Cloud Home and the 9 digit number is exclusively used by the MC HOME series which has nothing to do with your device which is
