$lim Ebay pickings for used G-RAID 8TB enclosures, any options?

Hello—

After trying a new 12v/5A/60W power adapter, I still have the fast-flashing red light on BOTH of my G-RAID 8TB w/ Thunderbolt 2 (KIT PN #0G04085) units configured as JBOD. I have even tried different cables and every permutation of drive bay swapping to no avail.

WD Tech Support suggested purchasing a used WD replacement enclosure from a third party; however, I’m told it has to be the exact same 8TB model.

Of course, it’s a huge risk to pay $200 for old hardware via Ebay. So, before I have to go that route attempting to access the data on the drives; are there other WD RAID enclosures, new or used, (12TB, 16TB or 20TB) that are compatible with the 8TB JBOD set up? Additionally, are there other third-party enclosures that will access the data on my WD drives?
