Hi.

Recently acquired and installed a WD TV Live and quickly noticed that my Roku Soundbridge detected a new media server called WDTVLIVE but couldnt connect to it.  A quick snoop around the internet suggests this is an implementation of mt-_daapd_ that is not working in the latest WD TV Live firmware (1.05.04).  Being a long time user of Firefly (another implementation of mt-daapd) I would love to get this working on my WD TV Live.  A bit more snooping suggests the following options.

1. Downgrade to an earlier version that works.

2. Change to WDLXTV

Will either of these work?

Is there another way?

I don’t know if WDLXTV works.

But the only WDTV that runs daapd is the Live Hub.
