Hi Having issues with Back-up. I have the NAS networked, set for every 15 minutes. When the back-up starts it will only back-up for not even a minute but it will always start the required back-up every 15 minutes ! Even when I go into File History and hit the “Run Now” link it will only back-up for about a minute max. could someone help me with this one as its giving me the poops

I would suggest to try to use another backup software, WD SmartWare with My Cloud.

Thanks Brandon, all working now but I have another issue where if, say a word doc is edited it will back-up another copy of that doc. Is there a way that it only saves the one doc instead of copy after copy if edited ?, regards Wayne

Hi Wayne68,

Yes, you can change the count of backup copies from Settings in WD Smartware. You can also sync data using WD Sync with updated files in My Cloud to get single copy of updated files.
