Iso video support?

hello everyone,  and i really thought the live plus supports iso…tried a couple with no luck…i used ultra iso and nero 10 if anybody tried playing iso’s what software did u used …pls.thnx

Even my Gen1 plays .iso files (even though it was unadvertised).

I’ve never not had an .iso play on my Live.

Mine have been mostly made with either DVDShrink or now DVDFab HD Decrypter, but even the ones I’ve made myself with TMPGEnc Authoring Works have played fine.

thanx for the reply, but is it bec. i tried to play it on stream or do i have to play it thru usb

You can play ISOs via LOCAL USB Storage or via NETWORK SHARES.

You CANNOT Play ISO’s via MEDIA SERVERS.    That’s not a WD limitation; that’s a limitation of the DLNA protocol.

I updated from 1.04.22B to 1.05.04B a couple of days ago and found out last night that I couldn’t open any iso files either locally on USB attached storage or via my network shares. I got a message that there were no media files…

This morning, I downgraded to 1.04.22B and everything was fine again.  I don’t know what the problem might be.  I can’t believe that ISO files are unplayable with 1.05.04B as I would have thought that the forum would have been loaded with complaints!
