I just bought a My Passport. I cannot get the WD Backup to install on Windows 10 64bit. During the process I get a message that says it cannot see a target drive. Any suggestions before I take it back to Best Buy for a refund?
There is a file named “WD Discovery Offline Installer” comes with My Passport. After installing of Offline Installer, you will get option to install WD Backup, WD Drive Utility and WD Security. However, when the My Passport is no longer attached to the computer, you will get same error message. You can refer below provided article for more details:
