I cannot access MyCloud EX4

Yesterday I lost assess to my EX4. It’s powered up and plugged into the network. Neither the power button nor the display arrows do anything, it’s unresponsive. I’ve unplugged it, switched network cables and plugs. I cannot access it to diagnose the problem. What next, what do I do, what are my options? Thank.

You can try a 4 sec reset on the drive

Option A: 4 Second Reset (Reset with Power On)

The 4 Second Reset will reset the following:

Admin Password (No password by default)
Network Mode (Default = DHCP)

Note: The 4 Second Reset will only reset the Admin Password. It will not reset the Admin User Name.

The 4 second reset had no effect on he device. I assume I should attempt the 40 second reset next.

Very bad product. Endless issues, stucks just for nothing, rebuilding can take weeks. Will not recommend to anyone of my friend.
Garbage! Absolutely inappropriate! Could’ve been even imagine such a bad product… :frowning:

The 40 second reboot did seem to fix the issue I was having. What would have caused issue to begin with?
