How to remove partition from WD Elements 4 TB drive

I have a 4 TB WD Elements external drive. Apparently, several years ago, we set it up with 2 partitions, each one is about 2 TB. We would like to remove to the partition and have one 4 TB drive, instead of 2 partitions of 2 TB each.

I have gone into Disk Management, and it shows one partition “Healthy (Primary Partition)” and one partition “Unallocated.” All attempts to do something to the Unallocated portion are unsuccessful.

I was going to try to format the drive, but haven’t been successful with that, either. We just want to start fresh and use it for back ups.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
