My 2TB WE Elements is out of space. I deleted all the content on one 666gb partition. Now there is no content but it still shows only 40gb available. How do I reclaim the 666gb capacity of that partition?

What is the disk lay-out (#partitions, filesystems, etc, view it with disk management in Win 10)?
What kind of file system is the problematic partition formatted with?
Check the bad sector count with CHKDSK.
You could try to re-format the partition.
Can you take a screen shot of the hard drive in Windows disk manager so that we can get a better idea on how the partitions are laid out?
Thank you so much for replying. I truly appreciate it. Another responder recommended that I run diagnostics on that partition and reformat if necessary. That did the trick and I’m all set now.
