I bought the MC EX2Ultra 12TB a few days ago. Now i am trying to setup everything i need.
1.WD would it be so hard to clean up the manual? Remove every link (that does not work anymore) and remove information that link to the WD My Could Desktop App.
It is really frustrating if you try to setup a device and 30% of all instrucktions are no longer viable.
2. Now my question. How can i delete the Public Folder? I would like to create my own Folder structure and not use the Preconfigured one. If i try to delete the Public Folder i get the message that i can not delete it.
The My Cloud Home Public Share is designed and implemented for Windows File Backup. It is not designed for local LAN storage access. Although it can be accessed on Windows and macOS, it was not designed to be used as local LAN storage.
