Amazon has locked down their device(s) so one may possibly not be able to install apps from the Google Play Store.

It may be possible to install the Google Play Store app so one could get around Amazon’s walled garden but it may void your device’s warranty.

There is not a My Cloud app for Amazon tablets and other devices – and there will never be one. You need to use file managing apps from Amazon store that are DESIGNED for their tablets. Two good ones are Bubble/UPnP and Avia. that I use on my Fire tablets. I actually prefer using my iPad over the Fire tablets, but that is another story.

it was working smooth on my android phone when it was running on android version 6.0.1 however as I have updated to android version 7.1.1 whenever now I am opening the app it only loads a blank screen on the start up and crashes after a while automatically. How do I fix it?

There is a tool that has been created that helps to easily mod the Amazon Fire tablets. Used it on a Fire HD 10. Has a number of things that it can fix (remove) from Amazon tablets.

Can this method also work on third party apps to install them on Amazon device’s because I am trying to install WhatsApp modified version’s such as WhatsApp Plus (https://gbapps.net) but I have no success in that.

Well, I think that the My Cloud App is available from WD’s Learning Center site, or from each mobile operating systems’ respective app store. If you wanna install it, just go to your app store. And if you can’t find the app there, then Maybe you need to do the third-party installation as you do for third-party apps. Wish you luck, my friend.

First of all reset your device and login to your Amazon fire account. Make sure to select the region. Hope it helps. If it doesn’t work, download the Amazon my cloud app from the official website.

You can download this from sites like clashmod. I have also downloaded Roblox Mod Apk from that site.
