I’ve tried everything i could think of. using different usb, connecting to different port, going through device manager, nothing is working. It used to work with my windows 7 laptop but it broke down and i got a windows 8 and now it won’t detect it. Please help.
Hi ccrodriguez, welcome to the WD Community. have you verified if the Passport is recognized on the Disk management window? Be sure to connect the Passport directly to the PC, avoid using USB extension cables or USB hubs.
