HELP! I dropped my WD Passport Ultra and now it's not recognised!

Hi everyone

I stupidly dropped my passport ultra and now my macbook air won’t recognise it! I do have a back up but this is a few months old. Is there anyway I can recover my files including photos and music?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello,

if the drive was dropped and now it is not working then it means it suffered sine mechanical damage.

You may try to recover the data using a data recovery software but if I’m right then a data recovery software will not be enough and you will need a data recovery company instead.
