Help firmware

So I have a new hard drive that had the firmware update 1.06. I have done some reading that the new update doesn’t support mp4 formate. I have a hard drive that has about 1 tb of movies on it. All of them are mp4 formate. How can I roll back my firware to be 1.05. Can that firware do mp4 formate. I can’t seam to download the three files .bin. fff.  I have it on a flash drive and put in on the media player and it won’t read the files

Hi.

Sorry to say but you have that wrong, I have lots of .mp4 movies and they all play 100%.

and I am running the new firmware update.
